Sarah Jane did her 200h Vinyasa training at The Shala in 2015 and then did her 300h training with JP Tamblyn-Sabo at Ahimsa Yoga Studio in Toronto in 2017. She recently spent a month in Bali to expand her understanding of meditation, breath work and sound healing. She also founded the Reconnexion Retreat in Canada with a focus on reconnecting people to their food, friends, breath and movement.
I found yoga in 2011 when I was in a rut, filled with self doubt and in need of a purpose. I will never forget the moment I fell in love with yoga. I was amazed that something so beneficial for your body could be even better for your soul. It was what I needed as I learned to choose to love myself everyday, to take time to breathe, and to embrace the body I was given.
My classes include creative flowing sequences with a focus on breath and alignment. I believe yoga is for everyone and I strive to find connection in this disconnected world. I encourage students to be present, creative and listen to their bodies, so they can get to know and love themselves.
